Stranger Games: Quiz & Trivia Last updated: 7 September 2026
This Privacy Policy applies to the Stranger Games: Quiz & Trivia mobile application (the "Application"), provided by Lanchas Dev (the "Service Provider"). Contact: lanchasdev@gmail.com
The short version: the Application collects nothing. No accounts, no advertising, no analytics, no crash reporting. One background connection exists, it is to Expo's update service, and section 2 explains exactly what it carries.
1. What the Application stores, and where
Your progress, scores, unlocked questions, chosen language and settings are written to your device's own storage and stay there. Nothing is transmitted, there is no cloud save and we hold no copy. Deleting the Application deletes it.
2. Network activity
The questions, images and sounds are bundled inside the Application, so the game itself works offline and sends nothing.
The Application does make one kind of request, and we would rather name it than let it look like a secret:
- Over-the-air updates. On start-up the Application asks Expo's update service (
u.expo.dev) whether a newer version of its code is available, and downloads it if so. The request carries what any web request carries — your IP address — plus the technical details needed to pick the right update: the platform, the runtime version and the installed version. It carries nothing about you and nothing about your play: no identifier of ours, no progress, no scores. It is a version check, not a measurement.
There are no advertising SDKs, no analytics SDKs and no crash reporting.
3. Permissions
The Application does not ask for the camera, the microphone, your location, your contacts, your photos, your health data or notifications, and it does not read your advertising identifier.
4. Third parties
Only Expo, and only for the update check described above. Apple and Google know that you downloaded the Application, as they do for every app you install, under Apple's and Google's own privacy policies. We receive nothing from them beyond aggregate download and crash statistics that identify nobody.
We do not sell data. We have none to sell.
5. Data retention and deletion
- We retain nothing, because we receive nothing. Expo keeps its own server logs under its privacy policy.
- Delete everything on iOS: delete the Application from the Home Screen or from Settings → General → iPhone Storage.
- Delete everything on Android: Settings → Apps → Stranger Games → Storage → Clear data.
- Support emails. If you write to us, your message and address are kept for at most 6 months, unless a legal obligation requires longer.
Your rights
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority — in Spain, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (www.aepd.es).
In practice there is nothing here to exercise them against: we hold no data about you, so there is no record for us to show you, correct or erase. Everything the Application knows is on your device, and deleting the Application deletes it. We say this plainly rather than reciting rights we have no data to honour.
Children's privacy
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Because the Application collects nothing, there is nothing about a child to collect. If a parent or guardian still has a concern, write to lanchasdev@gmail.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy — most likely because the Application starts doing something new. Changes take effect when the revised version is posted, with a new "Last updated" date. If a future version ever begins collecting data, this page will say so before that version reaches you.
